Worked in library media center for 1 hour, 30 minutes
o In the library today, I continued my work on creating a bibliography for a specific time period for a AP World History class. To complete this task, today I did the following:
• Using a previously made bibliography for AP World History, I did a combination of personally pulling books on the list and looking at these books in the library themselves and also looking them up in the catalog and on review sites.
• What I focused on in my search was whether or not each item on the list was scholarly in nature. I did this because the teacher requested that books on the list be credible with good sources. This task, in itself was time consuming, but I was able to utilize my history background while determining the value of each book included.
• After evaluating the books, I began to pull the ones I felt met the requirements.
